Cycle Isle Gran Fondo

Proudly supported by Events Tasmania, Cycle Isle Gran Fondo hopes to attract around 350 riders, not just from within Tasmania, but also the mainland and from overseas.

The ride starts in Devonport in the early hours of the morning and travels 205 kilometres through the beautiful Echo Valley in the picturesque Cradle Coast region of Tasmania and finishes in Devonport.

Cycle Isle Gran Fondo is a proudly Tasmanian owned and operated “Destination Event”; the organisers are passionate about Tasmania, specifically the Cradle Coast region.

The Cycle Isle Gran Fondo ambassador Macey Stewart, is also passionate about the region.  Devonport born, world championship road cyclist, Macey Stewart is proud to fly the flag for the CYCLE ISLE GRAN FONDO as Tasmanian Ambassador this year.

Macey has been racing and training in the Tasmanian hills since she was nine. Now, ten years later with dozens of National and World championships to her name, the world is her oyster, but Tassie is home.

Run Devonport

Cradle Coast Sports and Events (CCSE) purchased the Run Devonport event from Kerry Stubbs in mid 2013. The CCSE team have spent 2013 building new and maintaining existing working relationships with local businesses to benefit the event and the community. 2014 will be the 4th year of Run Devonport and plans are in place to make it the best year so far!

With 4 distances to choose from, Run Devonport is for everyone! Even the little people can take part in a 1km fun run/walk. There are also 2.5km, 5km and 10km events.
The entry fees for Run Devonport 2014 have been slashed, making entry possible for all members of the community, and making the opportunity possible for all families to participate.
2014 also sees the introduction of walker entries for the 5km and 10km events so put on your sneakers, prepare the pram and enter today!
The event will take place at Roundhouse Park on Devonport’s picturesque foreshore on Sunday March 16th 2014.
